Mould Injection - BioXe Grades

“Advanced bioplastics to shape unique parts”

Injection moulding technology works through a forming process using moulds. Our bioplastic is heated and melted and then sent to the mould, where it is cooled to create the previously designed shape. In this process, the manufactured parts can have different shapes and finishes, and production can be carried out quickly, constantly and in large quantities or volumes, always meeting the customer’s needs. With this technology we can manufacture products for a wide variety of industries.

The properties of our PLA-Premium material allow the final product to be processed on conventional equipment at a higher throughput than other plastics while maintaining high strength and exceptional quality finishes. For this we have the BioXe grades of PLA-Premium, with which we adapt the formulation of the material to suit the desired final product characteristics and the production processes of our customers. In addition, the material is compostable and bio-based, so it does not generate waste in the manufacturing process, is environmentally friendly and helps you meet sustainability goals and regulations.

What are our BioXe grades like?

Tecnología de inyección molde - Grados BioXe de ADBioplastics.

We offer customised grades for our customers’ needs. These grades vary according to the desired characteristics of the final product:

What are the advantages of BioXe?

•   Shape, finish and technical performance competitive with conventional plastics.

•  Cycle times similar to PS, PE and PP.

•  Good processability with conventional equipment..

•  Improved mechanical properties compared to virgin PLA.

•  Final product with good finishes.

•  Excellent compatibility and homogenisation of pigments and additives.

•  Lower melting temperature than other plastics (between 170ºC and 190ºC).

•  Wide quality in the surface finish (polished, frosted, shiny, veined, etc).

•  Excellent neck and thread definition.

•  Material suitable for food and cosmetic contact according to European legislation on food contact materials (FCM) and cosmetic products.

•  OK Compost Industrial Certificate from TÜV Austria.

•  And much more!
